My emotions used to feel like a roadblock to progress in my life, but sometimes it’s just a way my body expresses fear and anxiety about something new. Plus, crying is literally your body releasing the hormones that raise your cortisol levels. You cried? Great! That’s (sometimes) your body trying to feel better!
Once the ball gets rolling, the feeling dissipates, and it’s not so bad. Emotions aren’t inherently bad, they’re just the ways you’re opening yourself to experience in the world - how you address them is entirely up to you 💛 (this, like all of these blurbs, is mostly a pep talk to myself.
