▪️Jak zaczęłam zarabiać swoje pierwsze pieniądze (chodząc jeszcze do liceum i dodatkowo grając w piłkę) to mówili mi, że pieniądze mnie zmieniły (jakie pieniądze?! Zarabiałam marne grosze jako kelnerka, żeby moc później pójść na studia, a już wtedy musiałam się sama utrzymywać [!!] Nic dziwnego, że nie miałam czasu na inne przyjemności).
▪️Jak poszłam na studia i dostałam swoją pierwszą, dobrze płatną pracę to znów mówili mi, że kasa uderzyła mi do głowy, bo zaczęłam podróżować.
▪️Jak postanowiłam zabrac się za coś swojego, to mówili mi, że woda sodowa uderzyła mi do głowy, bo stałam się niezależna, poznałam swoją wartość i wiedziałam, że wszystko w życiu mogę osiągnąć, jeśli tylko dobrze ukierunkuję swoją energię.
⁉️Czy w jakimś stopniu się zmieniłam? Wciąż nie spożywam alkoholu (okolicznosciowo jedynie, ze cztery razy do roku), nie palę, nie mam żadnych nałogów (poza uzależnieniem od sportu ❤️), nadal tańczę i śpiewam w miejscach, w których nie powinnam, cały czas opowiadam żarty, które śmieszą tylko mnie, a cała reszta śmieje się z mojego śmiechu, wciąż mam nierozsądne pomysły, które wcielam w życie. Teraz mam po prostu trochę więcej spokoju ducha 😇
➡️Gdy zaczęłam spełniać swoje marzenia - nie miałam wiele wsparcia. Ale wystarczająco dużo, by być tu, gdzie jestem.

TRAINING WHEN YOUR SICK?// so after my little one has been poorly with a chest infection I have now picked up a minor cold! Nothing terrible but got me thinking about posting something to do with training when your have a cold or are sick!
So the question is “should I train when I’m sick?” I get frequently asked this by clients.
When you have been on a roll at the gym and you get struck by sickness it can be frustrating to say you can’t train, by training you can slow down your immune system therefore making you feel worse or have a longer recovery.. however, if your symptoms are purely above the neck so runny nose, sore throat etc and you want to train you can, just keep reps high and reduce your weight down, lighten your training, take a brisk walk instead of running on the treadmill etc
Anything below the neck such as bad stomach, a chesty cough or tight chest etc, then avoid training, especially if you are suffering respiratory as training could also leave you fighting for breath and it’s not advised.. basically listen to your body!
For prenatal clients I would just advise to rest your body is working hard for your baby and you need to keep your immune system strong, post natal clients consider how much rest you are getting at the moment and whether training on top will leave you with enough energy to take care of baby and recover well ❤️🙏

Here was one of my go to food hacks in the last few weeks of prep that helped a tonne with feeling full but not taking to my calories up.

🔹50g oats 🔹1 egg white 🔹10g cocoa powder .
.
Cook the oats untill there thick then add the egg white, the more egg white the better as it will help it set but that's up yourself and your calories. Once you've cooked the oats and egg together add half the pack of gelatin (6g) which is wisked with hot boiling water separately to the oats...

It will look very watery but don't worry it will set overnight or over hours in the fridge. Don't forgot to add your spices and flavours of choice and feel free to add extras such a fruit etc...mine was always cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger with abit of sweetner...

There are positive, strengthening ‘pains’ associated with exercise, and then there is pain you just don’t want to push through at all- joint pain, strain, impingement etc ✨ it can be hard to tell the difference, especially if you experience chronic pain. I love the mind-body connection Pilates teaches us 🤸🏻‍♀️ to be in-tune with what’s going on within and around us is a skill I never want to stop learning 🙌🏻

Saw someone doing seated dumbbell side lateral raises with his legs fully extended on the bench. So I gave it a shot & that minor tweak really made a difference. Your legs planted on the ground provide a little leverage by helping you slow up on the way back down to the starting position. With your legs off the ground & on the bench completely, you’ll feel the burn in your delts & traps just a bit more because you no longer have leverage from your legs & it doesn’t require heavy weight either. Give it a shot!
