Training your BACK burns more calories and increases the FAT LOSS process ladies........ so are u listening now?!?😂
Try these 3 exercises in slow and controlled movements. Below are the number of sets and reps I do for each of the included exercises! DM me and let me know how you get on🤗
Exercise 1- Wide Grip Lateral Pulldowns
4 sets of 20 reps- medium weight ( slow controlled movements)

Haven't posted in a couple days cuz I've been in serious pain!
This workout is from Wednesday. That was my first day at the gym by myself!! It felt so good!! I'm not sure if my right arm is just THAT much weaker than my left, but I woke up Thursday morning not able to straighten my right arm without intense pain. It killed me all day, to the point of tears! Today, it's still very painful, so I didn't go to the gym for my workout this morning. Hoping that by this evening it'll feel good enough for me to go, but it's not looking like it. So maybe and hopefully tomorrow!! Earlier today, before running into friends, enjoying beautiful weather, meeting new puppy friends (at last) and having a nice healthy lunch with Dad, went to the gym. Did several sets with a #lateralpulldown machine. Made it a point to use less weight, but to try to stretch my tight elbows/arms out with better formation, and additional reps. Also did a bunch of #stretching, #bodyweightsquats, and utilized the #StretchMate.
Oh, and did I mention doing all of this without my leg braces on? So it’s definitely more energy expended and strength built in the process… #GymWorkout #FeelTheBurn #BuildStrength #BuildMuscle #BurnCalories #WorkUpASweat 💪🏼👟😥 #FitFam #TakeThatCP 🔥👊🏼

The resistance band pull-up is in my opinion the best way to start. 'But that's too easy, why not go straight to pulldowns or negatives' you might ask? Resistance band pulldowns are my go to starting option to learn the scapular movements during the exercise. The exercise feels easy if you're just pulling the band down, but gets significantly harder when you start to think about the inward rotation of your scapulas when performing the movement

When you get the scapular movement down, you can hit the pulley machine and start with a light weight and start progressing weekly. Remember to transfer the knowledge from the resistance band training here. Slowly progress with the weight until you reach at least your bodyweight

Then you can start with pull-ups. The feeling is a bit different than pulldowns since you also need to balance your body now. If it's too hard and you can't successfully involve your scapulas, try with negatives, static holds in the top position, or use some assistance equipment

When you complete your first couple of pull-ups successfully, you can start adding weight to them or increase repetitions and progress from there

Save your spine by following the steps below ⬇️ and give the technique video a watch by swiping left ⬅️.

1. Sit down and adjust the knee pad to fit your height. The pad will prevent your body from being raised by the weight.
2. Stand up and place your hands over the bar with your palms facing forward, wider than shoulder with apart.
3. Keep your arms straight and lower your body to a seated position, firmly securing your legs back under the knee pad.
4. Slightly lean back around 30 degrees or so while creating a curvature on your lower back and stick your chest out.
5. Bring the bar down into your collarbone and exhale as you pull. Focus on squeezing the back muscles when the bar reaches your chest. The upper torso should remain stationary and only the arms should move. 
6. Slowly raise the bar back to the starting position when your arms are fully extended and the lats are fully stretched. Inhale during this portion of the movement.
