Using a roller, squishy ball, or tennis ball to assist in stretching and massaging are awesome. I also highly recommend a sports massage to get any knots or kinks out!

I talk about consistency and that is the key.⁠
But, how do we learn new habits?⁠
We replace bad habits with healthy habits and practice doing them consistently every day.⁠
This trains us to do it like it's second nature, it becomes our modus operandi⁠

It'd be nice if we could just flip a 180 and do every right immediately but we have to re-learn healthy habits and unlearn unhealthy habits and this takes time.⁠
So keep practicing the healthy habits, you'll get it down with time.⁠

Yesterday was deadlift day, my first day back after a few weeks off. I hit PB's and was really pleased. Some people deadlift for 1 or 2 reps really heavy, but I deadlift for strength in my back, core, glutes and hams and keep my reps as high as I can. .

”The real workout starts when you feel like quitting.” 💪❤️ Rounded out a #shoulderday session earlier this week with a 3x15 Superset of Front Plate Raises and Upright Barbell Rows! 🏋🏻‍♂️ The higher rep range forced me to go lighter on the weight and was a necessity since I had just performed some heavy presses prior.

Also, I really wanted to keep strict form while ensuring I’d get in all the reps to capacity - a must for getting the maximum output out the circuit closer.

Superset combos at these higher ranges AFTER heavy sets force the body to adapt in order to achieve those often overlooked endurance gains. These are essential for consistent strength and growth, as well as allow for excellent injury-defense conditioning.
